In spite of the relative assurance that "The Walking Dead" main characters will not be killed off the show anytime soon, there is still that bit of spoilers and possibility that it might happen - for instance, to Maggie.

AMC's "The Walking Dead" season 6 second half is set to be aired starting Feb. 14. Before the show's return, many speculations and spoilers have been circulating that Lauren Cohan's Maggie will not last until season 7.

Call it paranoia, but when Lauren Cohan showed up in an event recently, as reported by Vanity Fair, she sported a shorter do that made fans wonder if this is a sign of a big change for the actress' career, according to HNGN.

Usually, main actors of hit shows are not allowed to make big changes to their appearance for the purpose of continuity on the show. So this particular incident gave "The Walking Dead" fans reason to wonder if an imminent death is set for Maggie at the end of season 6.

Another point worth taking note of is a previous comment made by actress Lauren Cohen about the very dark and heavy scene that happened to her character, Maggie, which made her almost wanting to leave the show.

"The script where Maggie has to give the character Lori a C-section to save the baby that becomes baby Judith," Cohan said, according to Cinema Blend. "I go two doors down and I knock on Steven (Yeun)'s door, and I said, 'I have to leave the show.' 'I don't think I can do it.' It affects you so deeply to the core to touch on, to dive into some of this material. And then I realized that's why I have to do it."

That scene she was talking about was from "The Walking Dead" season 3 episode "Killer Within" where Lori's character goes into labor, which forces Maggie to deliver the baby and give Lori a C-section. The loss of too much blood caused Lori's death. Could there be an incident in season 6's second half that is even darker than this, especially that Maggie is currently pregnant with Glenn's baby? And if so, will it be too much to handle for actress Lauren Cohan?

With "The Walking Dead" season 6 spoilers and speculations in mind, viewers have to tune in this February for the continuation of the sixth season of the series.
