Khloe Kardashian gave an update on Lamar Odom's health.
E! News reported that the former NBA star's condition has vastly improved. During Kourtney Kardashian's guest appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last Monday, she and the host called Khloe Kardashian via FaceTime to get an update on Lamar Odom.
"Lamar is doing great, by the way," Kourtney said. "He was over over the weekend."
When Khloe Kardashian answered her phone, she confirmed that the former Laker player was doing "really good" since his overdose last October. "I actually just told him I had to go FaceTime you guys," she told her sister and Ellen DeGeneres.
"He's doing really good [sic]. His long-term memory is great. His short-term memory isn't so good, but if I met someone earlier today I probably wouldn't remember either, so that's understandable."
"But he's great. He's hung out with Kourt's and [Kim Kardashian]'s kids," Khloe added. "He loves family time. So, he's been doing really good. I think it makes him feel good to be around everyone, too, and to just be in a happy environment over obviously where he was."
According to People, Lamar Odom was released from the Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this month. Now, he is staying in a leased house in the same gated community where his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, resides.
"Khloe continues to look after him," a source told the publication. "Khloe visits him at his house and Lamar hangs out at hers."
"Lamar is not driving himself and instead has a driver. Whenever he leaves the house, he looks happy. He looks alert and often smiles. He is definitely looking more like the old Lamar."
Meanwhile, HollywoodLife.com reported that Lamar Odom has inspired Rob Kardashian to change his old habits. "Rob was so saddened by Lamar's situation that he felt the urge to get on the path to health," an insider revealed.
