With the production of "Fifty Shades Darker" just around the corner, a new cast has been added and the lead stars dish out on their awkward moments during filming. For those who haven't read the book yet be warned of story spoilers.
The first installment to the "Fifty Shades" Trilogy created a lot of buzz because of its somewhat taboo take on sex and intimacy. But according to Dakota Johnson, the sequel "Fifty Shades Darker", which will start filming this February, would even delve further into the dark side.
In an interview by Access Hollywood, Johnson revealed that "Fifty Shades Darker" will be more of a thriller and will be heavier than "Fifty Shades of Grey". She also opened up on being awkward during the filming of sex scenes.
"The story is sort of like a thriller now, and it gets kind of scary... it's awesome," Johnson told Access Hollywood, according to Movie Pilot.
"[The sex scenes] involve a lot of specific movement, choreography, which is really interesting to me... It doesn't ever get easy. It's not like I'm like, 'Let's do this!'"
In a separate report, Jaime Dornan purportedly shared how awkward sex scenes can get.
"Anyone will tell you that sex scenes, regardless of the content of the film, are always a tricky experience and relatively uncomfortable," Dornan told TIME Magazine.
In addition to spoiler news, fans of "Fifty Shades of Grey" can expect more suspense in "Fifty Shades Darker" with the addition of a new character to the story.
According to spoilers, Elena Lincoln, who was vaguely mentioned on "Fifty Shades of Grey" as Christian's ex-lover and business partner will have her first appearance on the sequel. The intriguing character is reportedly given to veteran actress, Kim Basinger, according to Daily Mail.
As reported by Metro, award-winning actress seemed a good choice to play the role considering her accolades, including an Academy Award. The role of Elena Lincoln exudes a strong aura that is befitting a dominatrix character and Basinger will surely contribute much to the part.
