Porn star Danica Dillon, who accused Josh Duggar of sex assault, is reportedly withdrawing her lawsuit.
Last November, Dillon filed a lawsuit worth $500,000 against the 27-year-old, accusing that the latter had choked him, spat on him and verbally abused him and that they had unprotected sex, according to a report by Inquisitr.
According to Radar Online, Danica Dillon, who is known for her true name Ashley Stamm-Northup, wants to voluntarily withdraw the case but without prejudice. This means that the pornstar wants a chance to be able to file the same lawsuit again in the future.
However, news also surfaced that Josh Duggar refused to that agreement and won't allow Dillon to withdraw her case without prejudice.
"Defendant will agree to the dismissal of the case with prejudice only if Plaintiff publishes a statement on all her social media accounts, to remain forever, that the allegations in her complaint are lies, and in addition, Plaintiff must pay Defendant's attorney's fees and costs to date," Dillon's attorney wrote in the Feb. 1 papers, according to Radar Online.
According to TMZ, Duggar's lawyers said that Dillon must drop her case forever and take back her accusations of the disgraced Duggar on social media. He also wanted Dillon to pay for his legal bills relating to the case.
In addition to the new scandal, Danica Collin purportedly was left no choice but to withdraw the case because she was unable to provide the court with enough proof that they really had sex encounters where Josh allegedly roughed her up.
The TV personality, on the other hand, was able to give a justifiable alibi, like airplane ticket receipts, to prove that he was not where Dillon alleged he was during the said incident, reported Lawyer Herald.
Furthermore, according to news by Inquisitr, Danica Dillon's sister confessed that Dillon has been stalking Josh Duggar on Twitter, for months, and that the scandal was part of the porn star's plan.
