It's Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei's turn to take the spotlight as she released a video of her doing a cover of Tory Lanez's "Say It." Is she going solo?
When it comes to interviews and exposures, it is usually Camila Cabello in the frontline. She had a collaboration with Shawn Mendes, the hit single "I Know What You Did Last Summer." She also recently filled the headlines when she hanged out with pop star BFF Taylor Swift.
Another member of Fifth Harmony, Lauren Jauregui, had a viral video where she is seen doing covers of Lady Gaga songs. For a while, it was rumored that she might call it off with Fifth Harmony and go solo.
Perez Hilton, in his report, seemed tired of all the exposures given to Camila Cabello and was relieved that Normani Kordei, who he described as "the real powerhouse behind 5H," is finally taking the spotlight! Perez Hilton was so impressed with Normani Kordei's "first shot at going solo" that he went further to describe the 19-year old Fifth Harmony member as the "Beyonce" of the group.
"Her vocals are polished without being too showy or nasally, which we can't say for some of her fellow harmonizing sisters... sorry 'bout it," Perez Hilton wrote.
Fifth Harmony keeps being hounded by split rumors, with several reports saying that members like Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui and now, Normani Kordei going solo.
Camila Cabello already previously called foul when fans backlash her after the release of her single with Shawn Mendes.
"They turned me [doing the song] into a conspiracy theory. We literally just wrote a song backstage and it ended up becoming something awesome. It wasn't a career move that I carefully planned out," she said.
"There is not enough time in the world to explain yourself to people that already think they know your intentions... so let it go," Cabello also posted on her Twitter page.
