One of the most amusing things you could find online right now is the news that someone posted the lyrics of 'Dolphins' that's supposed to single made by Avril Lavigne.
But before any fan of the Canadian singer rejoices on the possibility of the new LP read this: the lyrics and song everyone is talking about is not by Lavigne or anyone close to her. Fusion tried to track the source of lyrics and even asked anyone associated with the singer but did not get any concrete information on where the lyrics came from.
The interest in a fake song (with unsavory lyrics by the way) viciously attributed to Avril Lavigne is just one of the many reasons why she should think of releasing an LP this year. She had a very challenging 2015 as she battles with Lyme disease and divorce with Chad Kroeger.
The singer has overcome those challenges as Entertainment Weekly reports that she is making a full recovery after the health scare. As for her divorce with Chad Kroeger, the pop rock star is moving forward and made it clear that through her Instagram post that they are still "best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other."
When it comes to her vocal prowess, Avril Lavigne is still rocking it. Although she hasn't released any studio album since 2013, she recently sang the theme song for the 2015 Special Olympics with the title "Fly" which features her familiar vocal prowess. The music video for the song is currently available on her official YouTube Vevo page.
The fake "Dolphin" track, the tumultuous 2015 and a great single for the Special Olympics to remind everyone of her voice should be more than enough for the "Sk8er Boi" singer to consider getting back to the studio and release an album before the year ends.
