Camila Cabello is in love with someone and it's not Shawn Mendes. Who is this dream guy?
During an interview for the cover story of Seventeen, the Fifth Harmony singer opened up and named the exact kind of guy that she has been waiting for.
"I like Noah from 'The Notebook,'" the 18-year-old told the source above. "One-hundred percent. I fall in love with him so hard."
While the person was purely fictional, the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" hinted that her dream guy might also come from the music world despite her thoughts about artists.
"The thing is, artist boys are crazy," she explained.
"So when you have two people together, it's a hurricane. I've learned if I want a very stable, normal relationship where I'll be like, Okay, this is nice, I know what's going to happen in a month, it's probably better to date outside the industry. But you can't help who you fall for. It's our dating pool."
But after talking about her dream guy, Camila Cabello was once again asked about Shawn Mendes and she only had once answer.
"Shawn and I are great friends," she said as quoted by MTV. "That's why we write so well together - we have fun!"
After collaborating with Camila Cabello for "I Know What You Did Last Summer," it seemingly appeared that Shawn Mendes' next collaboration will be with a One Direction member.
During an interview with Capital FM, he revealed that Niall Horan has offered to work with him.
"I met him in America once and he reached out to me over Twitter," the "Stitches" singer revealed said during the show. "He just said 'Hey give me a text if you're ever interested in writing or whatever' - he's a really cool guy."
"If we can figure out a time and place, definitely," he further said about possibly working with the Irish singer-songwriter.
