Deftones have been teasing their new album "Gore" for quite some time. Finally, all the information related to Deftones record's release date, artwork and track list is out.
The follow-up to 2012's "Koi No Yokan" is set to release on April 8, 2016, via Warner Bros Records. "Gore" is currently available for pre-orders at www.deftones.com.
Fans who pre-order the album will receive an instant download of the first single, "Prayers/Triangles." In addition, a double-vinyl LP of "Gore," limited to 3,500 copies, is also available for pre-order, reported NME.
The Deftones new album's track list includes "Prayers/Triangles," "Acid Hologram," "Doomed User," "Geometric Headdress," "Hearts and Wires," "Pittura Infamante," "Xenon," "(L)MIRL," "Gore," "Phantom Bride" and "Rubicon."
The record, which has been produced by Matt Hyde, also features a guest appearance by Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains.
In a statement released to the press, frontman Chino Moreno poked a little fun about Kanye West.
"Out of respect for Pac, Big, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, Gore is ONE of the greatest albums, not the greatest, just one of," Moreno said of the album, reported Rolling Stone.
Kanye West recently claimed that his new album "Waves" is the "album of the life." However, the singer took his words back saying, "Out of respect for Q-Tip, Puff, Hov, Lauren, Pharcyde, Mary, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, James, Pete Rock, Pac, Marvin.... this new album is ONE of the greatest albums, not the greatest just one of ..."
Kanye is yet to comment on Moreno's statement.
Elsewhere, Deftones is scheduled to perform at Wembley Arena, London on June 3, which will be the rescheduled show from last November due to the attacks at an Eagles Of Death Metal gig in Paris.
