Kevin Durant is expected to be one of the most sought after free agents next year.

Along with Hassan Whiteside, Lebron James, Dwight Howard, Durant leads a crop of star players looking to courted by multiple NBA teams with tons of salary cap space.

Durant has been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers. He was, however, quick to deny it. On an interview in cbssports.com, Durant said this about rumors regarding his free agency.

"Along with Matty Ice [Thunder PR man Matt Tumbleson], I've got two people that I trust with my life, my agent and my manager, who's my best friend as well. I trust them with my life. So if you hear sources or anything, don't believe it if it didn't come from them."

The former Most Valuable Player then added "I tell them everything. We bounce ideas off each other. We collaborate on a lot of different things. They give me advice. so throughout this year, if you hear sources from anybody, it's not true, unless you hear it from Charlie Bell, Rich Kleiman or Kevin Durant."

According to Yahoo! Sports, one of the teams being linked to the superstar is the defending champions Golden State Warriors. Durant then spoke about the wonderful crowd at Oracle Arena.

"It's a great atmosphere. It's always been one of my favorite arenas just because it's small. I always say that it always feels like you're playing on a hill. I don't know why it feels that way. It's always a fun arena since my rookie year. I feel like this is one of the best arenas in the league," Durant said.

However, he maintained that he is still unsure about his decision. "It's hard for it not to enter your mind," said Durant.

"There's a lot of uncertainty to what's going on because I haven't really thought that far. I just try to focus on playing basketball, man. When I lock in I try to get better every single day. I'm trying to come in and help my teammates every single day. That's what my thought process is always focused on.

"Once that time comes and I make that decision, I will sit down and talk to my closest friends and family and try to figure it out. Right now, I'm trying to be the best basketball player I can be every single day," he concluded.
