Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence's dating life has never been directly acknowledged by the ex-couple. Despite months after their split, it seemingly appeared it would stay that way.

In a recent interview, the Coldplay frontman only talked about one woman in his life, his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow. Despite their separation and the end of their marriage, the pair has maintained a great relationship.

"I have a very wonderful separation-divorce," he told RollingStone. "It's a divorce - but it's a weird one. I don't see it that way. I see it as more like you meet someone, you have some time together and things just move through."

Jennifer Lawrence began reportedly dating Chris Martin after his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow in 2015. Despite being constantly being caught on cam hanging out together, the pair did not acknowledge their relationship to the press.

After only months of dating, the British singer and the "Joy" actress also parted ways. As reported by People magazine last year, part of the reason for the split was the band front man's commitment problems.

"Chris doesn't really want the relationship to end, but he needs to be flexible so he can see his family as much as possible with his own work schedule," an insider told the source above in August 2015.

"He's crazy about Jen but wants to keep his own schedule and be able to do what he wants when he wants to do it."

Following the split from Chris Martin, Jennifer Lawrence has kept distance from the dating scene. Apart from finding someone to date becoming difficult, she apparently had bad dates too.

"I didn't like how he made me feel," the Oscar-winning actress told Vogue in December about one person she used to date. "When someone makes you insecure, it's strangely exhilarating because you keep trying to fight for that validation."
