There are speculations on the title for the upcoming "Spider-Man" movie 2017.
According to Movie Pilot, with the "Spider-Man" movie's release date on Jul. 7, 2017, it's strange why Marvel and Sony haven't released the title for the film. The publication speculated that it could be named "Spider-Man: Civil War."
"Think about the marketing so far for 'Captain America: Civil War,'" MP wrote. "There hasn't been a hint of Tom Holland's Spider-Man except for a single, recently released set photo of Tom Holland."
Apparently, it has been confirmed that Spider-Man will not have much of a cameo in "Captain America: Civil War."
It was previously reported that the web-slinging hero will be recruited by Tony Stark. Tony is said to have personally gone to Peter Parker and recruits him.
To seal the deal, it was said that Stark offers the teenager an advanced Spider-suit. Also, it helps that Peter looks up to the billionaire superhero.
Last month, Joe Russo teased that fans may only get to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man when the film premieres this May. "What's our release date? Is it like May 6th? I think May 6th is when you'll finally be able to see him," the director quipped.
Meanwhile, Cinema Blend reported that in a recent episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," the host had scientists from Stanford debunk Cambridge's claim that Spider-Man's abilities would be impossible in real life.
The Stanford scientists have developed "Spider-Man gloves" that can allow a human to climb up walls. One scientist even demonstrated the power of the gloves, albeit a bit slower than the web-slinger.
"So, criminals, you're on notice. Spider-Man is gonna bring you the justice," Colbert said. "Just stay on the second floor and give him about an hour and 20 minutes."
"Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man is portrayed by Tom Holland. The stand-alone "Spider-Man" movie will be coming this 2017.
