Matt Le Blanc, who is widely known to portray the character of Joey Tribbiani in the iconic TV series "Friends," is now the new co-presenter of "Top Gear" alongside Chris Evans.
BBC recently announced the addition of Matt Le Blanc to the new "Top Gear" team after Jeremy Clarkson left the show due to alleged conflict with Top Gear's producer.
Chris Evans was the first host picked by BC to replace Jeremy Clarkson. James May and Richard Hammond, who co-presented "Top Gear" with Clarkson before, also left the show and will purportedly be joining Clarkson in a new Amazon show.
Now, it looks like BBC is slowly coming to completion with their new cast and that they are ready to take "Top Gear" to a whole new level by getting an iconic celebrity to join their side.
Matt LeBlanc first appeared as a guest in "Top Gear" season 18 episode 2 and made quite an impression when he made the fastest celebrity lap in the famous "Top Gear" track, with a still unbeaten one minute and 42.1 seconds, according to The Lake Andes Wave.
"As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I'm honored and excited to be a part of this iconic show's new chapter," said LeBlanc, according to BBC. "What a thrill!"
"Matt's a lifelong fellow petrolhead and I'm thrilled he's joining Top Gear. Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we'll both be debating some epic road trip ideas."
With BBC's announcement of Le Blanc's addition to the new "Top Gear" show, Evans also posted, on Twitter, a photo of him with the "Friends" actor and Stig.

Aside from Chris Evans and Le Blanc, Chris Harris and Sabine Schmitz will purportedly be joining the team, according to The Guardian.
The new "Top Gear" show is set to premiere in May.
