"Watch Dogs 2" to may get a release date at E3 2016.
New footage of the upcoming action video game will reportedly be revealed at the upcoming E3 2016 convention. While there may have been a lot of rumors circulating online, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game sequel may come very soon.
According to Rebel, a source at Ubisoft Montreal not only confirmed that a new game will be coming but it will also be exclusive to current generation gaming systems such as the PS4 and Xbox One. There will also be gameplay footage shown during the convention.
Gamers are hoping to see the changes in the new game since the first game had a lot of flaws that were overlooked and needed to be improved. The development on "Watch Dogs 2" is allegedly focused on improving the gameplay, graphics and the overall system on its release date.
"There are flaws, obviously," remarked Lionel Raynaud, Vice President Of Creatives at Ubisoft Montreal, on Cinemablend. "We absolutely want to tackle these flaws and surprise players, and the way to tackle some of those flaws is going to be quite radical. There are parts of the game that will need to change."
"This is quite a high ambition and will require us to develop technologies that we didn't have for 'Watch Dogs 1,' but this combined with fixing and refining what worked well is probably the way to go for 'Watch Dogs 2.'"
"Watch Dogs 2" is speculated to have a release date in April this year or in March next year and the new setting of the game will reportedly be in San Francisco, California. Players may be left disappointed as a new location may mean that the character Aiden Pearce could be replaced with a new one.
"Watch Dogs" is an open world stealth video game that follows a hacker who is determined to seek revenge on his niece's murder.
