GoPro is very determined to successfully launch its new version of Hero, the GoPro Hero 5, as it released a 30-second commercial in the Super Bowl 50 last weekend.
According to Bidness Etc, the company released a video advertisement that shows extreme sports athletes doing exhibitions which were caught on camera using the GoPro Hero 4 Session. The action camera manufacturer was able to meet their goal of catching the attention of the audience as many of them were intently watching.
In the 30-second video, with the soundtrack of Blitzkrieg Bop by The Ramones, it can be seen that football players on the field are getting ready for the game as well as other extreme athletes like bear-hugging, rock climbing, bungee jumping, sledding and snowboarding, the report added.
It was also noted in the report that the goal of the commercial is to exhibit the first-class video capturing capability and efficiency of GoPro cameras which can make simple consumers to professional videographers. What added to the impressive look of the ad is the rawness of the clips which was only recorded by different GoPro users from a diverse list of extreme sports and not by the company itself or by their employees.
In a recent press release, a GoPro Executive described how the filming of the 30-second video commercial went and how happy it was for them to collaborate with their consumers.
"Every day, GoPro users create and share content that inspires us. No think tank needed. You create the most dynamic, engaging content out there. We are just excited to show it to everyone."
Just a few days ago, GoPro released results of their financial status for the quarter which ended in December last year. The figures indicated the significant loss to the company which was one of the results of the cooled off demand for the company's products, the report added.
It can be probably assumed that GoPro is getting all the chance they can to win back consumers and to gain higher returns as they launch the GoPro Hero 5.
