Since "Diablo 3" was released, it has sold over 30 million copies and is regarded as one of the most successful games of all time. And now that an upcoming installment is just right behind the corner, is the Diablo fan base ready to get another version of the game?
According to Software Voucher, an announcement of the new "Diablo" game will be made by mid of 2016. Since "Diablo 3" is a very successful game in terms of numbers, Movie Pilot revealed in its report that its fans are still very much happy with this version since Blizzard is constantly providing updates and expansion to the current game.
Patches were also released which altered huge sections of the game that made fans play it for a little much longer, the report added. A report by VG24/7 stated that "Diablo 3" updated its version to 2.4.0 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One which comes along with new locations and expansions to already existing zones, namely the Ruins of Sescheron and Leoric's Manor.
It is expected that the new installment will include new characters, an updated graphics, new areas, a new narrative and so on. Though Blizzard has its way of keeping players busy for years with the expansions and patches they provide, there is still some room for improvements which they can employ once they finally release "Diablo 4," the report added.
According to the report, areas which need improvement and attention include the simplified equipment mechanics the producer currently provides, which fans aren't satisfied with, the lack of spell synergies, improvement of narrative elements, the imbalanced monster mechanics, and provision for a darker atmosphere of the game.
With the requests from players, they are most likely to expect that a significant change in the upcoming game would be available especially because "Diablo 3" has been present for quite a few years already.
