Since Netflix's announcement that they will revive the highly popular TV series "Gilmore Girls," fans have been seeking for more clues for its plot and more importantly, who gets to return.

Graham and Bledel have been confirmed to return since the initial revival announcement and more casting news has been revealed which could really shape the upcoming episodes.

The latest casting news confirmed that Jess, played by Milo Ventimiglia will be returning to Star Hollow. He is known as Rory's second boyfriend and he should definitely provide an excellent set-up to get the series' story going.

As pointed out by Uproxx, "Jess is probably Rory's most divisive boyfriend. While he was an alluring bad boy before they started dating...when push came to shove, he was a pretty terrible boyfriend who abandoned her when things got complicated. Still, he eventually cleaned up his act, started his own printing press, and convinced Rory to return to Yale."

While news that Jess will be returning to the show, Melissa McCarthy's Snooky is still not confirmed and there's no indication she will be back.

According to USA Today, "The show's most prominent post-Gilmore success, film and TV star Melissa McCarthy tweeted last week that she hadn't been asked to return."

Maybe it was assumed that she's too busy to work on the popular TV series or they outlined story on the series' return does not include a significant need for Snooky to appear in the series.

The return of "Gilmore Girls" will not feature the traditional 30-minunte episodes. After all, the series will be released through Netflix so viewers should expect a slightly different viewing experience.

According to Coming Soon, "the Gilmore Girls Netflix revival will include four 90-minute episodes." The length of the episode should give fans more time to explore the characters with larger story arcs.
