Fans can celebrate as "Predator 4" looks like it has been officially approved by the studio.

Previously, Fred Dekker, the film's screenplay writer, teased fans on a Facebook Post that the script was already sent to the studio.

In addition, Screen Rant stated that Shane Black, director of "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," will be directing the 4th film in the illustrious franchise.

Now, it was reported by Cinema Blend that Dekker has once again used Facebook to update fans. Dekker wrote on his Facebook status.

"Cannot say where I was this morning, or what I saw, or what we talked about. But if you are a PREDATOR fan? One word: YES."

While it's unsure on what Dekker meant, it's pretty clear that the film has taken significant steps forward.

Black already shared on collider.com that the upcoming film will not be a complete reboot and be similar to how "Jurassic World" continued the story of the classic, "Jurassic Park."

"As far as Fred and I are concerned anyway," Black said. "Why start over, when you've all this rich mythology yet to mine?"

Black also admitted that he plans of pursuing "the idea of expanding and exploring the existing Predator mythology, rather than hitting the restart button."

Aside from this teaser by Dekker, the producer John Davis has already said that they are happy with the script in development.

"Shane shot a movie and he's doing a pilot now, but I've read a lot of his script and I think it's genius," Davis said. "I think it's genius and I think it's entertaining, and what it did is recreate a famous franchise in a different, interesting way; looking at it from a different light."

"He's just an amazing writer-director. He's got a way of looking at this that makes you excited again. I love this franchise. It was the first movie I ever did. I remember in being in the jungle with Arnold [Schwarzenegger] as a 28-year-old and going, 'This is a fun business!'...Shane's amazing. He's an amazing storyteller."
