Freshly leaked images of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 running the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow has surfaced in the Web and it relatively shows a smooth running smartphone, consistent with claims about a much better OS.
In the images leaked by Sam Mobile, photos of different screens of Galaxy Note 5 were seen running the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The screens, accordingly, include the new white and blue status bar, the feature which had divided the opinion of the public.
International Business Times India, in its report, said that the photos of the 2015 flagship, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, running the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and the changes in the interface much looks like the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge running the new software.
It is still not confirmed, however, if the leaked images are part of a beta test or already the final version as Samsung has yet to officially announce the roll out of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to its devices.
Nonetheless, no official release date yet has been confirmed, although it is expected that the rolling out would start in the first quarter of 2016.
But according to Sam Mobile's report, their tipster told the publication that with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow running Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the overall usability of the device feels smoother. The new OS has brought with it new themes and features like Google Now On Tap, new Pro Mode and improved TouchWiz.
Meanwhile, Gotta Be Mobile has confirmed the update details for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. According to the report, the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update will bring along additional quick settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar; new emoji characters which could over 200 additional emoji; improved visibility of notification panel icons; a new 'install overnight' option letting the user installs an update at night between the hours of 2 to 5 am; and changes to the Galaxy S6 Edge panel.
