While the release date of the upcoming "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" reboot has been moved to 2017, fans are still very much excited about the upcoming film as they catch a glimpse of the new Rangers team preparing and getting in shape for their roles.

The upcoming "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" reboot, which is all set to start production in few weeks, is being produced by Lionsgate and directed by Dean Israelite of "Project Almanac" fame.

According to Comic Book Movie, some of the cast members including Dacre Montgomery, Becky Gomez, RJ Cyler and Ludi Lin have been posting gym training pictures for the past few months showing off their remarkable progress and their newly learnt fighting skills.

One of the cast members, Dacre Montogomery, who is going to play the role of Red Ranger, took to his social media account to show off his training and workout sessions.

"Last training session today!" the actor captioned a picture on Instagram, reported Korea Portal.

"Massive shout out and a huge thank you to the guys down @waimaclub Phil, Andrew and Graham. It's been an incredible journey and I've come so far in the last few months and still have so much to learn and space to grow. I feel honored to have been trained by you guys, such an inspiration! Time to get cracking."

Meanwhile, "iZombie" star and former Power Ranger, Rose McIver offered some advice for the new set of Rangers.

"Oh my goodness, that was probably one of the funniest eight month stints of my life," said McIver, reported IGN while the release date of the reboot has been confirmed. " We just laughed our heads off; we had so much fun. I think, make sure you enjoy it. Don't take yourselves too seriously.

"You're fighting monsters in rubber suits. But it's a blast. It's so cool and it's so cool to be a part of something that as a child my peers watched and I look now and there are children watching it still. It sort of transcends one particular generation and that's so fun to be part of, so enjoy every minute."

It was recently reported that Lionsgate has tapped Elizabeth Banks to play the villain Rita Repulsa in the upcoming Power Rangers film.

The release date of the upcoming "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" reboot has been set on March 24, 2017.
