Drake has found a new, glaring way of promoting his new album, "Views From The 6," which impossibly will miss anyone in sight.
On Feb. 10, ahead of the release of his fourth album "Views From The 6," Drake promoted his new album (as NME would describe it, "very publicly") by scattering artworks all over his hometown, Toronto, including an advertising space on billboards, which he occupied with artworks with the word VIEWS and eyes all over the letters.
The picture of the billboard posted on Instagram by Drake, accordingly, is captioned: "All Star Weekend 2016."
In its blog, NME commented, "Naturally, Drake fans the world over have been suitably tantalized by this new teaser, speculating that the caption on the 29-year-old's Instagram post-'All Star Weekend 2016'-is not a subtle nod to the fact that the annual NBA All-Star Game will take place in Toronto this coming weekend."
"And, given that he's already released one single-'Summer Sixteen,' which had a huge '6' as its artwork-from the album, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to suggest that Drake may be ready to release some more material from 'Views' to coincide with this weekend's basketball fun and frivolity," the blog said further.
Another post by @BBishopAirport showed another artwork posted on the train station with an advertisement that wrote: "Four Plus Two Equals 6."
This gave the fans the idea that Drake is planning to drop "Views from the 6" on April 2, with hints coming from the words "Four" and "Two."
NME added that the timing of the unveiling of Drake's new teasers for "Views From The 6" is quite controversial because it came to a day before the Global Kanye [West] Day.
CBC News, in its report, also noted that last week, Drake and Rihanna were also in Toronto, working and shooting a new music video at Riverdale's The Real Jerk.
