Speculations started to spread that Calum Hood of 5SOS will be leaving the band after posting a tweet in his Twitter account hinting on leaving and living a normal life.
Hood is the 5 Seconds of Summer bassist and vocalist who is known for his lovable, happy and goofy personality.
Fans of the 5 Seconds of Summer cannot be kept in peace as the issue on bands breaking up is in fly high due to One Direction's split last year when Zayn Malik left the band for good.
It was reported that Hood's post said: "One day I will leave and live a normal life" which crushed the hearts of his more than 5 million twitters followers thinking that Hood has plans of leaving, per Daily Mail last December. Shortly after this tweet, fans of 5 Seconds of Summer quickly trended into the social media because of the #WeLoveYouCalum hashtag they used to support the band member.
According to a report by Teen.com, user @KnownAsSmash said:
"he doesn't deserve to be unhappy, hes such a lovely person and deserves the world #weloveyoucalum"
Another fan with username @tbfh_5sos reacted to the tweet by saying:
"Without him theres no 5sos. I really hop everything is okay. I can't lose him I've already lost zayn. #WeLoveYouCalum"
Fan @ecstatic_muke showed support as well as disappointment by saying:
"It's bad finding out someone's broken, even worse when you don't know how to stop #WeLoveYouCalum"
To set the record straight, Daily Mail reported that Hood answered "oh f*** no" when he was asked by a TMZ photographer if he is already considering to leave the band.
With this confirmation coming straight from Calum himself, fans are probably still holding on to the many future performances 5 Seconds of Summer will offer with Calum Hood still being a part of them.
