"World Of Tanks" update is available on PS4 and will bring in a lot of history to the game.
Wargaming announced that the PS4 release date of the game will add 40 British vehicles into the game and will be arriving for the Xbox One and PC much later.
"Over 40 tanks have rolled out—light, medium, and heavy tanks, as well as tank destroyers and artillery—which means there’s a British vehicle for any destructive occasion," announced Wargaming. "Take control of tank royalty like the Crusader, Cromwell, and Conqueror. Spread you empire of destruction across maps like 'Siegfried Line,' 'Fisherman's Bay', 'Ensk War!' and many others. Players can also get to grips with the well-known Westfield map, as well its variant with weather conditions: Westfield Rain."
Apart from getting new vehicles to play with in the "World Of Tanks" PS4 release date update, players will also be able to play on 11 new maps and the legendary Type-59 will reportedly be available in the PlayStation Store for a limited time only.
According to Cinemablend, the vehicles have different purposes that range from cruiser tanks focused on breaking enemy lines and tanks that are good for hit-and-run circumstances. There are also heavy duty vehicles that can blast through forces and do some major damage on the medium and smaller tanks.
PlayStation gamers may have all the fun now but there is a good reason why the roll out of the new content is so slow. The company reportedly has to pay for patching fees on home consoles and is considered the only roadblock when it comes to updating games. There are certifications for each patch and can take weeks for each console.
It should be noted that the PS4 update for "World Of Tanks" does not require a PlayStation Plus membership to play on its release date.
