Scott (Tyler Posey) and the pack has successfully rescued Lydia (Holland Roden) out of the Eichen House and now they're on to another challenge as they take on the Beast.
In the previous episode, Dr. Valack's (Steven Brand) purpose why he is experimenting with Lydia is finally revealed. After all, what Dr. Valack wanted to learn about the identity of The Beast of Gevaudan through Lydia. The Dread Doctors, accordingly, are trying to make the Beast remember who it once was. Valack, however, found his demise when Lydia screamed, blowing his head off.
Another thing fan saw in the latest episode is the new romance teased by Jeff Davis in an interview with TV Line. Davis had said in the interview, "This episode starts two characters down a path that's been building for years."
It turned out Jeff Davis was referring to Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia, or 'Stydia' to their fans. In the latest episode, fans saw how Stiles convinced Lydia to let him save her and then Lydia telling her mother how Stiles saved her.
"The hand-holding, the look on Stiles' face when Lydia woke up, her 'Stiles saved me' line... it was almost too much to handle. I'd admittedly given up on them as a couple, but after this week's episode gave me new hope," TV Line wrote.
International Business Times, in its report, said that Episode 17 titled "A Credible Threat" will have Scott and his pack using a charity lacross game, expecting the Beast to make an attack and therefore. try to defeat it.
Episode 17 will also stage the return of Brett (Cody Saintgnue) and according to International Business Times, Brett might help out Scott and the pack. Will this mean that he is finally joining Scott's pack?
Saintgnue once said, "The fans would tweet me that every single day about the possibility of Brett joining Scott's pack."
He added, "But I know Brett's very loyal. I think maybe under a certain circumstance. If it seemed right, if it seemed like the right move, if it seemed like the best integrity thing to do, I think Brett would do it."
