Chelsea Handler continues to air her opinions about the late-night TV format where Jimmy Fallon currently reigns.
In a recent interview, the "Chelsea Does" host reiterated her dislike over the format and disinterest to be a part of one.
"I don't want to fill someone else's shoes," she pointed out to Vulture. "And that's such a boring format. 'Oh, we heard you got a puppy.' Who gives a s--t?"
She even voiced once again her love for Netflix and even seemingly threw shade at her previous network.
"Everybody running that network was so f--king dumb, and I didn't respect them," she exclaimed. "I mean, they weren't dumb. That's so harsh to say. But, you know, they just didn't know what to do or how to do anything. [At Netflix,] I feel like, 'Wow, I'm not the smartest person in the room.'"
"No offense to everybody I used to work with."
Chelsea Handler has been vocal about her stand on late-night TV despite reports from Radar Online in December that she was interested in Jimmy Fallon's job on the "Tonight Show."
In 2014, she already revealed it was never her goal to follow the footsteps of Jay Leno or David Letterman.
"No," she said when asked on "Today" back then if he wanted to take over one of the late night shows. "There was a lot of speculation but it was inaccurate as it usually is."
Nevertheless, Chelsea Handler believes one day a woman can be a part of the late-night TV lineup alongside Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien, Trevor Noah and others but it was just not for her.
"I was in a position where that was a possibility," the former "Chelsea Lately" host told The New York Times in May 2015. "I don't love the idea that, oh, no woman's going to get this job. You could get that job. You can. If you really want that job, you can get it. I didn't want it."
