It has been reported by several sources that a "Deadpool" sequel is already in the works. Since the movie premiered, it has grossed up to $47.5 M on opening day and is assumed to hit the $129 M mark on a 4-day projection according to a Deadline report.
At the end of the movie, post-credit scenes revealed that Cable from X-Men will be joining the sequel in which Deadpool himself announced:
"Oh! I can tell you one thing, and it's a bit of a secret. The sequel? We're gonna have Cable. Amazing character. Bionic arm, time travel! We have no idea who we're going to cast yet, but it could be anyone. Just need a big guy with a flat top. Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren, Kiera Knightly? She's got range - who knows? Big secret, shhh. Oh, and don't leave your garbage all lying around. It's a total dick move. Go! Chica-chica," Cinema Blend reported.
While it was already revealed that Cable will be joining the next "Deadpool" movie, other fans might still be asking as to whether other additional characters aside from him will be included.

Siryn would be a good choice as it was told in the comics that Deadpool has been truly infatuated with the mutant superhero. The Merc with a mouth and Siryn's pairing could be a hit if the sequel is planning to gear towards a hint of romance.
Next of the list would be Black Tom Cassidy, a mutant who can injure anyone with fatal blows produced by a power generated from wood. Cassidy clashed with Wade Wilson because of his attempt to acquire the healing factor Deadpool possess by slicing off his hand. It was said that Cassidy is Deadpool's first major enemy.
The most anticipated in this guess list would be none other than The Wolverine! Deadpool and Wolverine are Marvel's two toughest characters, both with healing factor and a fight scene between the two would be one of the most anticipated in case an announcement is made about Wolverine joining the "Deadpool" movie.
