"Blue Bloods" actor Donnie Wahlberg accused the media of trying to sabotage the presidential bid of Republican Marco Rubio. Jenny McCarthy's husband is stirring up controversy again a few weeks after his explosive comments on "Making a Murderer."
On Feb. 9, he tweeted, "It's in medias interest to see @marcorubio do poorly in #NHPrimary. Because a win or second ends the suspense, and nomination is likely his."
Then three hours later, he added, "This display of humility & accountability, from @marcorubio, is what most other candidates & our country are lacking."
Donnie Wahlberg elaborated further in a Facebook post about his thoughts on the New Hampshire Primary and how the media gloated on Rubio's mistakes.
"So #DonaldTrump boycotts a debate. #JohnKasich, #JebBush & #BenCarson repeatedly stumble through debates. #CarlyFiorina is unfairly excluded from debates. #TedCruz blatantly insults all New Yorkers in a debate. #ChrisChristie verbally assaults his former BFF The POTUS in debates... and the mainstream media doesn't find much of a problem with any of it?"
Jenny McCarthy's husband said the only mistake Rubio made was when he repeated himself in the debate "after being masterful and eloquent in almost all of the previous debates."
"Such contradictions only indicate that they must be very afraid of Mr Marco Rubio winning the #GOP nomination. It also indicates that those concerns are not due to any alleged 'lack of experience.'"
Donnie Wahlberg is no stranger to controversy, after the divorce rumors with Jenny McCarthy, he exchanged words with TV personality Nancy Grace over the "Making a Murderer" series.
"The one thing that's important to remember in all this hullabaloo about the case is that nobody is remembering the true victim in this is Teresa Halbach," he told Nancy Grace.
"If his uncle brought [Brendan Dassey] over to engage in this horrific thing, then his uncle is victimizing him," he added.
In an op-ed piece for the Chicago Sun-Times, Jenny McCarthy's husband dismissed the conspiracy theory suggested in "Making a Murder." Instead, Donnie Wahlberg believed that Steven Avery was guilty for the death of Teresa Halbach.
