Cumberbatch has been on top of many polls in the past. In 2012, he's reported to be the hottest bloke in Britain by The Sun UK and in 2013 Empire Online hailed him as the top in rank in the 100 sexiest men category.
He's made quite an impression especially in his "Star Trek into Darkness" and "Sherlock" roles but furthermore, he is also well-mannered, witty and has a great sense of humor.
Charming Cumberbatch just can't seem to get his head on the idea of being the hottest men in Hollywood, making fans and media love him more. "I'm still processing this strange misperception, Cumberbatch said, according to The Sun UK.
"I suppose I'll have to find a way to deal with the strain. I enjoy being considered handsome, even though I think it's hysterical."
Tom Hiddleston, on the other hand, has appeared to be in second ranking to Benedict Cumberbatch on the hottest men in Hollywood, according to Empire Online. But many fans disagree, saying that there's more to Hiddleston that the media are not noticing.
There have been many blogs dedicated to dissecting the many reasons Hiddleston is the hottest men in Hollywood. One particular Tumblr account even compared the actor to a real-life Disney prince, and many would probably agree to that.
According to Buzzfeed, when asked about being a sex symbol Hiddleston admitted, "All I know for sure about it is that it is kindling to the fire of ridicule that my sisters will throw at me."
Both actors have played dark villain roles and have made even the coldest hearts like them anyway and they are both good at impersonating co-actors too, according to So Feminine. They don't mind making fun of themselves, which makes them even more likeable.
It's hard to pinpoint who is better. Both have been extremely visible in Hollywood and have been working on films and TV series left and right. But one thing's for sure, they clearly are two of the hottest men in Hollywood and it might take a long while before anyone can top that.
