With things looking hopeful for the "Elder Scrolls 6" release date, fans are now focusing their eyes on a possible announcement at Bethesda's press conference at the E3 2016?

Previous reports have hinted that more details for the sixth installment will be made available by 2017.  However, could it be possible that the developers have something up their sleeves at the upcoming event in June?

"The Elder Scrolls is a huge series for Bethesda," Neurogadget reported. "Like Fallout 4, The Elder Scrolls 6 would be the sort of hype-inducing game to make an E3 stage show huge. On the other hand, it still feels too soon for The Elder Scrolls 6 to actually release, and Bethesda doesn't seem to favor making announcements too far ahead of time."

However, other rumors are claiming that fans might have to wait for a number of years before they get their hands on the latest "Elder Scrolls 6" release.

"Bethesda usually releases a new TES every 4 years, so when Bethesda didn't release 'The Elder Scrolls 6' last year we're all a bit perplexed," Crossmap noted. "However it seems like we'll still have to wait another 4 years before we can see 'The Elder Scrolls 6.'"

"Ás it is not Bethesda's way to split teams, it seems like we'll be seeing 'Elder Scrolls 6' updates by 2017, since there's Fallout 4 and of course DLCs to be released on the game afterwards. Since Bethesda releases a new Elder Scrolls every 4 years, it seems like we'll be seeing TES 6 by 2019."

Bethesda has already shut down rumors of a possible 2016 release date in the past.  However because of Bethesda's reportedly grand showcase at this year's E3, many can't help but wonder if there could be a surprise announcement waiting for the fans.

"Rumors had pegged The Elder Scrolls VI for an early 2016 release, according to MNR Daily, but a recent interview with Bethesda Softworks Vice President of Design Pete Hines shot that down pretty firmly," Inquisitr reported.

"Hines, speaking at Gamescom 2015, indicated that the studio would be turning all of their efforts toward completing Fallout 4 and recently took the time to expand on that; specifically, that The Elder Scrolls VI is still 'a very long time away.'"
