"Dragon Ball Super" chapter 8 is already online courtesy of D-Manga. The story continues with the fighters finally arriving on the planet where the tournament takes places. Before any predictions on what may happen in the future, here's a recap on the latest chapter.
The exam is about to start and with Goku and Vegeta noticing that some fighters are very familiar. Among them is Frost who looks like Frieza, a robot fighter and Kabe, a Saiyan from Planet Salad.
After Vegeta and Kabe exchange pleasantries, the written examination starts. After 10 minutes, the results are announced: Buu is disqualified from the tournament because he did not pass the written exam.
With Buu out of the tournament, the fighting order has been determined: Goku will go first followed by Piccolo, Vegeta and finally Monaka. After the opening ceremony, Goku was called up the stage to fight Potamo. Goku was initially at a disadvantage because he revealed he has eaten something before the match and he has to work it out.
After running around the stage, Goku fights back and he surprises everyone that Potamo is getting hit but the attacks are too fast to be visible. The chapter ends with Potamo about to reveal his power.
Goku has a big chance of winning the initial fight. After all, he has shown tremendous speed even without the Super Saiyan. However, based on the upcoming titles on the anime adaptation posted on Reddit by user EmmaWinters, Goku will have to show his Super Saiyan form soon.
It should be noted though that the next episode is already titled "Piccolo vs. Frost! Bet Everything on the Makankosappo" which means Goku might have lost his second fight based on the rules set by the tournament.
It would be interesting to know in the future chapters if Universe 7 would need some help from Gohan since Buu is already disqualified. Frost's power is also revealed since it seems that he has defeated Goku in the tournament.
