After so much anticipation for Fifth Harmony's upcoming new album, the CEO of Epic Records, L.A. Reid, has finally confirmed that a new single is coming on Feb. 26, which will kick-off the girl group's sophomore album unofficially titled 5H2.
Music and Lyrics, in its report, said that "everything will start February 26th" for Fifth Harmony with a new single from the "Worth It" singers, as confirmed on Twitter by the music mogul L.A. Reid.
The confirmation came when a fan asked in a Twitter Music pre-Grammy's chat: "#GRAMMYsAskMeghanAndLA Hey LA when is Fifth Harmony new single coming out?"
"Feb 26," was the very short reply of L.A. Reid, meaning Fifth Harmony fans only have to wait two weeks before another new music from the popular band comes out.
About two weeks ago, Fifth Harmony has teased the fans with a Twitter post that looked like they are working on a desert-themed music video. On their Twitter post, Fifth Harmony gave a suggestive caption: "Back to work."
The image attached to the Twitter post showed the girls of Fifth Harmony wearing a "Mad Max"-themed costume set in a desert location, which is reportedly the California desert. Bustle, in its report, described the upcoming video as: "it looks completely different from anything else they've ever done before."
Music and Lyrics also dished a couple of information on the upcoming single. According to the report, the single may be the song Tinashe wrote for the girl group titled "She's My Girl." Genre-wise, the new single will be very similar to "Worth It." Ally Brooke also described the single as "Sledgehammer meets Reflection."
And as to the music video, Music and Lyrics said that it will have a post-apocalyptic theme, which suits its "Mad Max" costume set.
Meanwhile, The Inquistr also reported that Fifth Harmony is currently working with Hannah Lux Davis for another music video. Davis, who has previously worked with Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Demi Lovato, was also linked to two music videos for Fifth Harmony in the past.
