"Rocket League" season 2 is already in session and the updates are all worth trying out.

There is loads of new content in the second season of ranked play in "Rocket League." Apart from having the standard bug fixes and improvements, there are updates added to make it more enjoyable for gamers around the world.

Psyonix released full details of the newest patch on Steam on Feb. 10, 2016, for the PC and PlayStation 4. The patch has improved the game by fixing multiple bugs and by adding new features to upgrade the gaming experience, such as all ranked participants who gained bronze or above in season one, will be given rewards and there is an experimental playlist for casual online play.

There is also a new item rarity system that allows both common and uncommon items to be found after online battles, performance has been improved in different arenas. Russian and Turkish language support has been added, as well as a player reporting feature and "Snow Day" can be played in the private Matches.

The newest updates are the antennas and toppers, called deadmau5; added country flags like Tonga, and added "community flags" such as IGN, NVIDIA, Gamespot, 9Gag and Destructoid, as reported by VG24/7.

The newest arena, the Wasteland arena, has been added in the competitive playlists. This particular arena has been a subject of great interest after a player wandered off and found an alien planet while he cruised outside the arena.

Gamezone reported that the player, Redditor UncomfortableNPC, was able to give players a glimpse of the alien world full or ruins and abandoned construct. However, the developers didn't confirm if it was a new addition to the game and remained vague.

Players will be glad to know that updates and bug fixes such as the adjusted audio volume for "portal" boosts, fixed handbreak performance on vehicles, "Winning is Winning" achievement will now be able to unlock once requirements are met and so much more.
