'BattleTech' Gets More Than $850,000 Kickstarter Campaign! Classic Game Now Live In PC Version?

The Harebrained Schemes successfully raised more than $850,000 assets to make the new "BattleTech" game a reality by means of Kickstarter campaign that was launched on Sept. 25, 2015.

It is also worth noting that the studio have already allocated funds for "BattleTech" and the main aim of the Kickstarter campaign was to raise funds for some thrilling additional game features.

That said, as a result of the unending support from the backers in co-funding the creation of "BattleTech," the studio previously expressed that after quite a while of hiatus, Harebrained Schemes was pleased to announce their return to Kickstarter beginning last Fall of 2015.

"Jordan Weisman, the creator of 'BattleTech' and 'MechWarrior,' is back with the first turn-based 'BattleTech' game for PC in over two decades," Harebrained Schemes official website.

"Steeped in the feudal political intrigue of the BattleTech universe, the game will feature an open-ended Mercenaries-style campaign that blends RPG 'Mech and MechWarrior management with modern turn-based tactics," it added.

Excited? For the individuals who are new, the new "BattleTech" game will be set in the classic "BattleTech" universe, amid the Succession Wars that made up the setting of the 1987 board game and evidently, artistically connected with Piranha Games' "MechWarrior" online, according to PC Gamer.

What's more, the upcoming PC game is moreover portrayed as "a universe of flawed heroes," fallen realms and dim moral realities and is set on the political conspiring and interest between noble houses, who were battling to control a district of space known as the Inner Sphere.

"Years of combat between the houses mean that the fighting mechs on which their power depends on dwindled in number to become a rare and precious commodity," Wired.Co.UK revealed.

Subsequently, on whoever succeeds in the battle, players will apparently have the capacity to afford their most favorite "MechWarriors" paid and their fit as a fiddle.

Apparently, the new turn-based PC "BattleTech" title is said to be compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems when it releases in early 2017.
