With two years before its release, Marvel's "Black Panther" movie has a lot to go through, including a debut in this summer's "Captain America: Civil War."
According to Comic Book Movie, "Black Panther" has been tagged as a "big geopolitical action adventure," as per producer Kevin Feige.
It was also previously reported that Ryan Coogler of "Creed" will be the director of Marvel's "Black Panther" movie.
"This one is important. Not only do you get an unbelievable lead character, but you also get all of Wakanda which is a whole new setting and culture to explore," Kevin Feige once said for confirmation.
Recently, "Black Panther" screenwriter Joe Robert Cole also dished some details regarding his gig with Marvel and working with Ryan Coogler.
"Black Panther" is a historic opportunity to be a part of something important and special, particularly at a time when African Americans are affirming their identities while dealing with vilification and dehumanization," Cole explained. "The image of a black hero on this scale is just really exciting."
Considering that both Joe Robert Cole and Ryan Coogler are both African- American, they were asked on how they plan to depict "Black Panther" and his culture on the silver screen.
"I write characters focusing on them as human beings and then you wrap them within a culture," Cole said. "So I think I can connect with him as a person with brown skin who's viewed differently by the world."
Meanwhile, Hasbro has recently released their Marvel Legends series, with "Captain America: Civil War" getting close, people will be seeing a number of new toys based on the film, as reported by Toyland.
Since Marvel's "Black Panther" will make its debut on the "Captain America" movie, the African- American superhero will have a 6-inch action figure released in line with the screening of "Captain America: Civil War."
Other Marvel heroes that will have a Hasbro action figure are Iron Man, Scarlet Witch and of course, Captain America.
Marvel's "Black Panther" movie will be in theaters on Feb. 2018.
