Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink have finally gone public after news of calling off their divorce surfaced.
As seen on a video on Mail Online, the couple stayed close to each other when they were hounded by some photographers upon arrival at LAX last Saturday. It was mentioned that the "Grey's Anatomy" actor and makeup artist came back from Dallas but it was not clear if they visited the place on holiday or for work.
The public sighting was a first for the couple since reports surfaced last month that they have decided to give their marriage a second try.
As told by People magazine back then, they have been spending time along with their kids to build their family back up from an almost split.
"They seem very happy and are spending a lot of time together," an insider told the source above. "They go on dates and are also involved with the kids together."
News of Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink reconciling came exactly after a year after they announced their divorce.
The "Sweet Home Alabama" actor and his wife have been married for almost 17 years.
In an interview back in 2011, Dempsey revealed his thoughts on the secret to a successful marriage.
"The key to a successful marriage is accepting that you're not going to change the other person," he told Good Housekeeping. "And the words 'Yes, dear. Whatever you want.'"
He also noted how valuable his family was to him.
"Nothing else matters so much as long as you can come home and be with your family," he explained.
Not many details have been released regarding the news of Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink's reconciliation. But according to Radar Online, the reunion apparently worked after the actor made a compromise about his racing and making time for family.
"He loves that woman and they've gone through so much together, and he's doing everything she asks him to do," an insider told the source above.
