Excitement and anticipation come along the way for marvel comic fans as the next installment of the "Captain America" movie series unfolds.

While trailers may be full of hints regarding Bucky's regain of memory and Captain America's conflict with Iron Man to protect his best friend, there had been little emphasis on the arrival of new characters, which include the Black Panther.

According to Gizmodo, Hasbro's toy figures of superheroes who will be part of the upcoming movie were exhibited at the recently held Toy Fair. This confirms that Black Panther is included as he was the star of the exhibit alongside other 6-inch toy figures of Iron Man, Captain America and Scarlet Witch.

For fans of this Marvel movie who aren't very much familiar with Black Panther, here are a few primers which can introduce the hero according to Gizmodo:

Black Panther, also known as T'Challa, is the first black superhero who was included in mainstream comics. He didn't get his own movie until 1973 but he was first included in "Fantastic Four #52" in 1966.

T'Challa came from a royal family. His ancestors are from the Panther Tribe who's ruling over the nation of Wakanda. The responsibility of the Black Panther is a legacy and a hereditary title passed on from generation to generation of their family. He earned these rights from his father, T'Chaka.

Wakanda is the most advanced country in the world where T'Challa is ruling. Marvel comics identified this country as the forefront of advanced technology and one of the few places where the metal vibranium can be found.

Black Panther and Storm of X-Men were a former couple. The two were married before in 2006 but was also annulled six years after. The reason behind the split was not specifically identified but some fans speculated that plans of T'Challa debuting in the cinematic universe of Marvel wouldn't allow inclusion of Storm's character because she's part of Foz's rights on X-Men.

"Civil War" is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo which will open on May 6 on cinemas worldwide.
