Chapter 78 of "Boku No Hero Academia" is now available for online reading through Manga Fox. The latest chapter continues the battle between the Villains' Alliance and the academy teachers with their students. Before any predictions/spoilers for the upcoming chapters, here's the recap of the latest events.
The chapter starts with Kouta asking his teacher Shouta about Izuku's status as they leave for the facility. Shouta assures Kouta that Izuku will survive and that he should thank him later for his actions.
Izuku was able to get in touch with Mandalay and asked her to use her telepathy once more to instruct others to aid Katsuki and prevent him from fighting since he is part of the target. Izuku leaves immediately and even though he was attacked by Kenji, Spinner blocked the attack since Stain has deemed Stain worthy to become a hero. With the villains arguing, Mandalay seizes the opportunity and knocks Spinner down.
Katsuki and Shouto are fighting the villain named Moon Fish who has the ability to expand his teeth. Katsuki continues to protect the duo with his ice powers but both acknowledged that they are in trouble since they can't run away with all the smoke. On the other hand, Tetsutetsu and Itsuka find the source of the smoke but the masked villain fired a gun for protection.
On the other hand, Izuku continues his quest to find Katsuki but was restrained by a giant shadow who appears to be from Mezou. Mezou explained his situation where he has to use one of his tentacles but Fumikage ends up using his dark shadow that is now getting out of control. The chapter ends with Fumikage warning Mezou and Izuku to run away or else face death.
Shencomics recently posted the raw scans of the upcoming chapter and it looks like it's going to be an epic battle that feature the full power of Fumikage. User ShenGao of Manga Helpers forum, "the running Tokoyami crushes Moonfish" which shocks everyone in sight as they see the full, yet uncontrolled power of Dark Shadow.
