Andy Murray hardly came down from the euphoria of welcoming baby daughter with wife Kim Sears when the world's no. 2 is back to training to chase Novak Djokovic as the top gun in tennis.

A report from Daily Mail revealed that the Scot is back on the court to train to defend the Davis Cup trophy they won last year. The matches will start next week when Great Britain takes on Japan.

"Murray, who has kept a low profile since literally running out of his post-Australian Open final press conference to catch the first flight home to London, will be named in a group of five or six for the tie at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena beginning a week on Friday," the report said.

Andy Murray's obsession to become one of the greatest in the sport is really palpable by the need to continually work on his game, even after the birth of her daughter with wife Kim Sears on Feb. 7.

The world's no. 2 reportedly took time off to visit with friends and relatives in Scotland last week.

It's been a roller-coaster past few weeks for Andy Murray after losing to Novak Djokovic during the Australian Open in Melbourne, and knowing about the collapse of his father-in-law in the same tournament.

Then there's the news about wife Kim Sears delivering their first baby two months short of their first wedding anniversary. The tennis ace and the heralded artist tied the knot on April 11 last year.

Meanwhile, The Belfast Telegraph reported that Andy Murray is playing a large role in getting young kids involved in tennis amid the claim from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) that the "game was in decline."

"We're so lucky to have in Andy Murray a player that's at the very top of his game that young players can look up to," Davis Cup captain Leon Smith said.

Andy Murray and wife Kim Sears named their baby daughter Sophia Olivia.
