OnePlus 3 is coming this in the 2nd quarter of 2016! This was the confirmation from the company's co-founder and CEO Pete Lau during the SURGE tech conference in Bangalore, India.
In its report, International Business Times said that while Pete Lau did not reveal too much during his announcement at the SURGE tech conference, OnePlus 3 is expected to arrive in June. The report added that as it is known, OnePlus One was released in June 2014 and OnePlus 2 was unveiled in July 2015 and released in August 2015, hence, the launch of OnePlus 3 may well be expected fall in the same months.
MNR Daily also said in its report that a June release "might be reasonable." The report highlighted the statement from OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei who said that OnePlus 3 will be out at the end of the next quarter, which is definitely June 2016.
The report added that as it looks, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3 will not have many differences, but on the inside, OnePlus 3 will be much improved as it is expected to be running the Snapdragon 820 processor.
According to the report, OnePlus 3 will come in two variants: one will have a 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage and another one will have 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. OnePlus 3 will have the CyanOgenOS for its operating system, which is based on the Android Marshmallow 6.0 version.
OnePlus 3's rear camera will have 13 megapixels while its front camera will have 5 megapixels. And for its display, the newest flagship phone from OnePlus is expected to have a 5.2 inch Quad HD.
Lastly, MNR Daily also mentioned that OnePlus 3 might be having a removable battery and microSD support, which are some of the most common concerns of OnePlus users.
