Katy Perry was in the news again, and this time for supporting and campaigning for the Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Orlando Bloom, her new beau too was there to support her.
As reported by Variety, The Sun, Daily Mail, People and many other media agencies, this 31 year old singer performed her billboard chartbusters "Firework" and "Roar," in the "Hillary Victory Fund: I'm With Her Concert." This concert was held at Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday, Mar. 2, 2016. Perry sported a pair of striped blue and white pants which has the colors of the US flag and wore a starry red top.
After the concert, Perry changed into a T shirt which had "Hillary Clinton Is A Badass" written in the front along with an American flag-covered denim. She signed autographs for the fans and Bloom was there to support Perry all the time. Sir Elton John too performed in the concert. Grammy nominee Andra Day too shook a leg with the rest of the celebrities and supported Clinton.
Former US president Bill Clinton (husband of Hillary Clinton) and their daughter Chelsea Clinton enjoyed the show from the audience stands.
2016 has been a year when Katy Perry never ceased to appear in headlines. Be it for her upcoming new album 2016, her relationship with Orlando Bloom and her vacations with him or relationship with her ex-boyfriend John Mayer. It is believed that Perry still has a soft corner for Mayer and they still are good friends.
Talking about the relationship between Bloom and Perry a source told E! News. "They seem to be getting serious and are an official couple. She calls him her boyfriend." Considering that now Bloom is supporting Perry in her political choices clearly tells that he has accepted her as a part of his life.
"Katy hasn't looked happier. She always has the biggest smile when she is around Orlando," a source told PEOPLE. "Orlando attends events and parties that are important to Katy" the source further added.
