Another newcomer to the horror anthology series joins the cast: supermodel Naomi Campbell takes on Lady Gaga in "AHS: Hotel" and it's not going to be pretty.
Latest news on new cast members for FX's "AHS: Hotel" involves a legendary supermodel who is known not only for her beauty but for her fierce and sometimes wild antics. E! Online revealed Naomi Campbell as the newest face in "American Horror Story" season 5.
The 45-year-old former supermodel "has joined the ever-growing list of cast members checking into 'AHS: Hotel,' and she's already got enemies before even one episode airs," it said. Campbell's character is said to take on Lady Gaga's equally mysterious character come the series' premiere.
"Campbell - who starts shooting next week - will play a fashion editor who pays the ultimate price for her critiques. In addition to Gaga, she will also have scenes with returning AHS alum Angela Bassett," reported TVLine.
Lady Gaga has already been reported to bring to life a villainous character in "AHS: Hotel" and while this isn't a surprise for "American Horror Story" fans, the arrival of new cast member Naomi Campbell and her character description is a bit.
Her character is said to take on Lady Gaga's, does that mean Ryan Murphy will bring another chaotic plotlines, one with blurred good vs. evil themes? While this remains to be seen as "AHS: Hotel" arrives in a couple of months, what's for sure is that throughout the "American Horror Story" chapters, villains have been proven to be among the most-loved characters in the anthology.
Apart from Campbell and Gaga, new "AHS: Hotel" cast members include Max Greenfield and Cheyenne Jackson, and together with the veteran cast members, season 5 will bring a "bloodier and grislier" chapter in the "American Horror Story" franchise.
"It's a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before. It's straight horror this year," declared showrunner Ryan Murphy via MoviePilot.
The entire cast of "AHS: Hotel" arrives this October on FX.
