Director Joe Russo has teased that "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man will be fresh.

TechnoBuffalo reported that Joe Russo has teased a "completely new version" of the "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man.

"It was very important to us that we go young with the character because what we love about Spider-Man is that he's still a high school student," the director explained.

"That's part of his vulnerability and it's what makes him special in the Marvel Universe; he's very unique. We wanted to play to that aspect of the character."

The publication noted that although the web-slinging hero has been confirmed for the film, "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man has not yet been revealed. This makes the Avenger's debut "much more anticipated."

The directors also wanted to explore a modern interpretation, molding Peter Parker into who he would be like if he lived in present-day Queens, New York.

"What's the texture of his life like, what's the texture of his relationship with his aunt who lives with him?" Russo added. "How can we make the relationship and character very contemporary? That's our goal with the character."

Meanwhile, Collider reported that Marvel has released the film's latest plot synopsis. It is said to have provided "official clarification" on the details of the "Captain America: Civil War" teams.

"Marvel's 'Captain America: Civil War' finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity," the synopsis read.

"The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps - one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability."

The website noted that most of the details are the same from its previously released synopsis. However, there is no mention of "a new and nefarious villain" now. The "Captain America: Civil War" teams have also been revealed as well as their stand on the issue they will face in the film.
