Marvel Studios' head honcho Kevin Feige recently revealed what fans can expect in "Spider-Man" reboot and he may have just spilled out its title.
During an interview with Empire, he confirmed that the 2017 film will not be an origin story, but it will show the human side of the web-slinging superhero, which will be played by Tom Holland.
"It's going to be as big and spectacular a 'Spider-Man' film as has ever been made," Marvel's president explained. "But it's a Peter Parker story and has more opportunity to be focused on the story of a 15-year-old kid going to high school."
According to Heroic Hollywood, the possible title of the reboot is "The Spectacular Spider-Man" because Kevin Feig used that word to describe the film and that word has been used in titles of the comic books. That title could help the remake stand out from the previous films "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man."
Before Tom Holland headlines the "Spider-Man" reboot, he will first debut as Peter Parker in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016.
During an interview with Super Interessante via Comic Book Movie, director Anthony Russo was asked about the superhero's uniforms in the film including an iron suit.
"Well, we did a lot of research and experimented with the looks of each character," he explained. "We went through the same process with 'Spider-Man.' We knew it was going to be someone young and it was very important to us because we wanted to give this essence to the character, because he is someone unique to the Marvel Universe."
"Tom Holland is an amazing 'Spider-Man,' people will love him. It was a very experimental process, placing him with the other actors, especially with Downey Jr., we had to learn as we worked. And we're very happy with the final result. We're still working on a few things, like the costume. He's not ready yet because so much will be produced with special effects," the director added.
The website also asked Anthony Russo if Tom Holland will be wearing the red-and-gold costume that the character wore in the "Civil War" comic book.
"The film will show a mix of what everyone is waiting for with a little twist. So yeah, that's all I can say," he replied.
There were reports that "Spider-Man" reboot is a continuation of "Captain America: Civil War." If that is the case, then there's a chance that Tom Holland will wear the Iron Spider Armor, which Tony Stark created for Peter Parker.
