It's official! NBC, as of late, affirmed that Christina Aguilera is finally returning as a judge to "The Voice" Season 10, as Gwen Stefani exits.

The 35-year-old Grammy award-winning pop star will once again join fellow returning judges Blake Shelton, Adam Levin and Pharrel Williams, as the singing reality competition returns on February for its season 10.

As a brisk refresher, Christina Aguilera started as the judge of "the Voice," when it's debuted last April 2011 and enjoyed a reprieve from it in August 2014 after she gave birth to her daughter.

As noted by Movie News Guide, Gwen Stefani was really a substitution for Christina Aguilera during its sixth season.

Thus, as Christina returns to the TV show, it has been purportedly decided that Gwen Stefani will be taking a break in the following season so she can concentrate on her career.

According to Korea Portal, the "Hollaback girl" singer "will be making a new album soon" and will be doing a few shows amid her break from the show.

"The Voice" judge and Stefani's present beau, Blake Shelton, on the other hand, is not happy about the said substitution and allegedly asked the show's producer, Carson Daly, about having five judges in order to bring Stefani back.

That said, Carson then reacted with the world's most secure answer. "Our chairs, we're like Iron Chef over here. Once you've been in the kitchen, you're always welcome back in the Kitchen," said Carson, according to Hollywood Life.

Meanwhile, Paul Telegdy, President of late night and alternative programming at NBC Entertainment as of late expressed that "they can't wait to see what 'The Voice' season 10 will bring."

"The coaches on 'The Voice' continue to bring incredible energy, unrivaled musical expertise and a want-to-win attitude that makes for the perfect ingredients of a two-time Emmy-winning show," said Paul Telegdy.
