One incredibly famous actor and comedian recently expressed his desire to portray one of Batman's villainous and popular enemies: the Riddler.
Although it's quite certain based on the recent "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer that the film's main villain will be Lex Luthor, there may be a possible introduction of Bruce Wayne's biggest nemesis the Riddler.
While it's been reported by businessinsider.com that the previous teaser might have indicated the involvement of the Riddler, no castings have been announced.
As reported by The Week, the film's trailer has given out multiple spoilers regarding the film's plot and its possible set up for the first "Justice League" film. It is expected that multiple characters from the D.C. universe will have an appearance in the highly-anticipated superhero movie. While the Riddler is not confirmed, the Joker, Doomsday are expected to have integral roles in the film.
One superstar actor who is interested in playing the role is "Big Bang Theory" lead Jim Parsons. According to cinemablend.com, Parsons admitted that this would be a dream role for him. "I would love to play a superhero movie," the award-winning actor and comedian stated. "And I would like it to be a villain. And I would really like to play the Riddler. I don't think they're using the Riddler very much are they?"
"Wouldn't I? I would be dope as the Riddler. Girls, tell your friends," he concluded.
Cinema Blend also reported that "Ace Ventura" and "Liar Liar" actor Jim Carrey who once played the villain in "Batman Forever" stated that he wouldn't say no to reprising the role.
"I'd love to work in the new, graphic novel versions of the movie," Carrey said. "I don't know about reprising the role, I don't know if Chris Nolan would go for that. I'd love to work with him.
