Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan from "Outlander" season 2 have so much more to say about the production.
The stars of the time travel drama series sat down and answered some questions sent in by their loving fans. There are just some things that are better answered by the actors themselves.
In a YouTube interview on Starz, the two stars of the series picked out random questions from a fish bowl and answered them on air. The video is almost two minutes long and apart from them teasing and bickering with one another, they gave out a lot of details to fans.
Caitriona Balfe picked out the first question from the bowl and the mystery of why the horses liked her better was revealed. Her co-star quickly pointed out that she would give the horses mints all the time so they always go to her to ask for more. Even his own horse couldn't resist and preferred her company to his.
And when it came to tardiness on set, both of them immediately pointed each other out.
According to Movie News Guide, one of the most interesting questions for the "Outlander" season 2 stars was if Sam Heughan was going to cut off all his hair once filming wrapped up, a question which Caitriona Balfe immediately reacted to.
While Balfe teased that it could be a touchy subject for him, he noted that the hair is part of Jaime's character, it looks like he's game to chop everything off anyway.
One question Heughan was particularly excited about was the question about the weather in Scotland. Most of the filming took place in the outdoors and the weather there is known to be on the dark and rainy side. When asked about how they dealt with the weather in Scotland, Balfe replied immediately " You don't deal, you endure."
In other news, a lovely redhead has been added to the upcoming second season.
Sophie Skelton, as reported by E! Online, landed the role of Jaime and Claire's Daughter, Brianna. The characters is strong-minded and intelligent but is stubborn as well. While her arrival is welcomed with open arms, fans are now wondering how Jaime and Claire could have a 20-year old daughter so early in their story.
The season 2 of "Outlander" will be released on Starz in April this year.
