Amy Vachal recently talked about her life during "The Voice" and being coached by Adam Levine.
In an interview with New Jersey's 101.5, she more or less described her experience as a roller coaster ride.
"It's been a little crazy," the singer who lives in Brooklyn, New York told the source above. "That whole experience was the wildest thing I've ever gone through."
The Swarthmore College graduate even shared how she took a leap when she was offered to audition for the NBC talent show but got anxious as season 9 moved forward.
"I never thought I would do a show like this," the Top 9 finalist revealed. "I wasn't nervous at all and then I got progressively nervous as the show went on."
Despite getting booted from "The Voice" early, Adam Levine's mentee Amy Vachal, didn't mind at all and immediately focused on her next move.
"I'm just getting back to work," the singer-songwriter dished out. "I'm busy as I've ever been. I decided that I'm just going to hit the road. So I've been booking a lot of shows all over the country. I'm just writing my face off and I'm just getting into it."
At the moment, the singer was set to tour across the US. Tickets were already on sale for her shows in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. More places are expected to be announced in the coming days.
As previously reported, Amy Vachal attributed her renewed passion for music to Adam Levine. It can be remembered that the "The Voice" contestant chose to be under Pharrell Williams' team but was later "stolen" by the Maroon 5 front man.
"He's been just such a musical hero of mine for such a long time," she said in a video after her exit on the show. "He is hands-down one of the most brilliant minds that I have ever me. He really stretched me as an artist."
