The charming Pixar characters Marlin, Nemo and Dory will come back on screen this year with new adventures and amazing 3D animation.
"Finding Dory", the sequel to the hit animation movie "Finding Nemo" will set to have its nationwide release date on June 17.
This time, Pixar shifted the story's focus on Dory and the adventures and misadventures that a forgetful Blue Tang fish could possibly encounter. It reportedly takes place six months after Marlin found Nemo in the first movie, according to Inquisitr. A teaser trailer has also been released by Pixar to entice the already expecting fans.
Late last year, it was revealed that included in the "Finding Dory" cast are host-comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, who will come back to give voice to Dory, Albert Brooks who will be the voice of Marlin and Hayden Rolence to voice Nemo, according to People.
With only months away before the release date, it was also recently revealed that actor, Michael Sheen, will be part of the cast.
Michael Sheen has been famous for his roles in 2011's Doctor Who, and in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" where he played the lead vampire villain role, Aro.
According to Inquisitr, Sheen revealed his involvement in the "Finding Dory" movie during an episode of "Dough Loves Movies" where podcast host Dough Benson interviewed him.
"Finding Nemo 2 should be coming out some point... which I'm in," Sheen told Dough Benson.
It is still unknown what character Michael Sheen will give his voice to, but it will be an interesting addition to the already solid cast of "Finding Dory".
According to Movie Insider, other actors included in the spin-off are Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy who will be behind the voices of Dory's parents. Yes, the story will also feature Dory's family. That's something to look forward to.
