It's Drakes's first single off of his new album for 2016 and the singer confirmed its release date on the show as well. His song is proud and playful and the rapper took light jabs on some famous people, including President Obama, Jay Z, Kanye West and of course, Meek Mill, reported CBC News.
The rapper slash singer has a constant beef with Mill, who released a track himself. Meek immediately dropped his song right after Drake's came out and it naturally insults the "Views From The 6" artist as well.
Meanwhile, Drake took fans back to "Hotline Bling" days with his brand new T-mobile Super Bowl ad. The video shows the rapper reenacting the song's music video and as soon as the director yells cut, a group of stuffy executives approach the singer and swarms him with suggestions, revealed Rolling Stone.
No official announcement has been made whether the 30-second ad will air during Super Bowl 50 on Sunday. If it does it will join celebrity filled commercials, which includes Alec Baldwin for Amazon and Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen for Bud Light.
Drake's new album for 2016, "Views From The 6," will hit shelves in April. In the meantime, fans can enjoy "Summer Sixteen" on iTunes and Apple Music.
