Model Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik had been the subject of controversies recently, aside from being in a steamy music video, of course.
After Zayn Malik's music video for "Pillowtalk" dropped on Jan. 29, he and rumored girlfriend Gigi Hadid exchange flirty tweets on Twitter, as reported by ET Online.
Apparently, they were talking about Zayn Malik's music video, wherein Gigi Hadid makes out with him.
"What would Beyonce do?" tweeted Gigi Hadid.
"You seen the video babe? Someone's looking," replied Zayn with two emojis.
"Nah musta missed it. Jokes... I wasn't looking at myself, trust me," Gigi flirtatiously replied, adding emojis of her own.
Appearing on Zayn Malik's "Pillowtalk" is not the first time for Gigi Hadid. The model has also appeared on Calvin Harris' "How Deep Is Your Love" and on Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" to name a few.
According to Sports Illustrated, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik shared several intimate moments all throughout the video.
Moreover, Gigi Hadid is also a two-time Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl.
In a recent Zane Lowe Beats 1 interview, Zayn Malik stated that he and Gigi Hadid are "good friends."
"Yeah, good friends, yeah," Zayn answered when asked if he and Gigi were in a relationship.
Are Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik really good friends? The "wildly intimate" music video does not think so, as well as their previous exchange of sweet nothings on Instagram and Snapchat.
Meanwhile, Seventeen reported that Zayn Malik's "Pillowtalk" might be written for his ex-fiancée Perrie Edwards.
Apparently, his album "Mind of Mine" was written and recorded only a couple of months before he decided to split from One Direction and he was still with Perrie Edwards.
"Zayn wrote 'Pillowtalk' when he was with Perrie still so it's obviously about this hot chic," wrote a fan via Twitter.
With this, fans of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik might still want to wait a little longer for both parties to confirm whether they are in a relationship or not.
