The movie and online release of the second "Digimon Adventure Tri" series is coming soon and fans are eagerly anticipating the continuation of the first story. Fortunately, additional leaks are coming out that definitely ups the ante from the first movie which means more evolutions and challenges are coming.
One of the biggest spoilers for the upcoming film is the released poster on My Anime List forum. The poster reveals one of the biggest and fiercest Digimon to appear in the story: Imperialdramon. The uncontrollable and extremely powerful Digimon will make his presence felt in the upcoming film in a very big way and the kids that were part of the story are in it for the adventure as well.
The existence of Imperialdramon does not only mean it will feature some massive battles. Because Imperialdramon will make a gigantic appearance in this movie, the characters in the first series will also be part of the story as well as the kids from "Digimon Adventures 02."
According to the Wikia page of Imperialdramon, his existence was caused by Paildramon's digi-volution in "Digimon Adventures 02." Of course, as part of the bigger universe, the characters from 02 will also experience some time lapse just like the original protagonists in the series.
Another leaked image courtesy of Twitter user stuart444 is also available online that shows the location of various children around the world. Aside from the actual location of the kids, there are also black boxes added South Africa, Australia, Europe, Southeast and East Asia.
This could mean anything but it's most likely sightings of powerful Digimons. The second battle could be set in various places if the map indicates their presence.
According to My Anime List, the 2nd movie's official English name is "Digimon Adventures tri Chapter 2: Determination" and it's set for release on March 12, 2016 in Japan.
Anime News Network also reports that the film will be available online on the same date. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the first movie as four separate episodes available for members in select countries.
